So, I’m listening to Diary of a CEO—Stephen Bartlett’s podcast—when Dr. Nathan Bryan starts talking about nitric oxide. Within minutes, I had to stop what I was doing.
You know those moments when you hear something so impactful, so urgent, it physically stops you in your tracks? And shockingly under-the-radar.
This was one of those moments, and I realised that I was missing something vitally important from my wellness routine. What’s more surprising is I’d never even heard of Nitric Oxide. And no, it’s not to be confused with the laughing gas …..
We’re living in the golden age of wellness: cold plunges, adaptogens, tech wearables, biohacking rituals that sound like NASA training. But one of the most essential molecules in your body? It’s not trending on TikTok or sitting pretty on your bathroom shelf.
It’s called nitric oxide—a gas made of one nitrogen atom and one oxygen atom. But don’t let the simplicity fool you.
It plays a vital role in almost everything your body does: circulation, energy, brain function, skin repair, sleep, and even sexual health. Essentially, if you're alive and trying to feel good while doing so, nitric oxide is working diligently behind the scenes.
This isn’t the latest wellness trend. The discovery of nitric oxide won a Nobel Prize in 1998.
But as with so many things, our ability to make it declines steeply as we age. By the time we hit our 40s, we’re producing up to 50% less than we did in our twenties.
Which explains a lot, doesn’t it?
That low energy despite eating well. The brain fog. The slow post-workout recovery. The colder hands and feet. The sleep that doesn’t feel restful. The libido dip. All signs that your nitric oxide might be waving a little white flag.
When nitric oxide is released in your body, it relaxes and widens blood vessels—a process called vasodilation.
Think of it like Marie Kondo for your circulatory system: more space, better flow, less clutter.
Here’s what that looks like in real life:
In other words—it makes everything work better.
We’re not here to fight ageing—we’re here to age well.
Nitric oxide supports healthy aging by:
Translation? It helps keep things running smoothly as the years go by.
If you’ve been noticing slower recovery, brain fog, or just a general feeling that things aren’t firing quite like they used to—this could be the missing piece.
You’re probably not testing this at home (yet), but here are some tell-tale signs:
And with modern life working against us—stress, processed food, pollution—our levels often need a little help.
You can support nitric oxide production through:
The challenge? Many nitric oxide supplements don’t deliver effectively.
That’s why Dr Bryan has curated a formula that’s bioavailable, science-backed, and genuinely worth a place in your wellness regimen.
You’ll find it coming soon to ReverieLuxe. So impressed by this podcast, and what I learnt. I reached out to Dr Bryan’s Brand – NO1O to ask if we could sell it. I’m thrilled to say they agreed!
Nitric oxide isn’t a buzzword. It’s foundational to your vitality, recovery, sleep, focus, and skin.
If you’re already investing in your health and wellness, this is the upgrade you didn’t know you needed.
Because real luxury wellness? It’s not about doing more. It’s about selecting the essentials that make everything else work more effectively.
P.S. If you haven’t yet, go listen to Dr. Nathan Bryan’s episode on Diary of a CEO. It might just stop you in your tracks too.
